Smith about Vukotic: "Strong .. has to make the adjustment from international basketball to our style of play ... we will put her down on the blocks with her back to the basket and hope that she can adjust and make quick strides toward what we want her to do ... there again, it will be something we will have to wait on and see how well she adapts .. what I want her to do is rebound and score because we have the players that will do a lot of scoring ... if she becomes a scorer, you won't hear me complaining."

Before NSU: Attended Jesdimir Lovic High School, but played basketball for a Boemerx club team which is a member fo the First Yugoslavia League ... scored 15 points a game while rebounding at an eight-per-game average and dished out five assists per contest ... began playing basketball at age 11 on one of Yugoslavia's best club teams known as Red Star .. won several gold medals for Servia and Yugoslavia club teams.
