2020 Southland Conference Commissioner’s Spring Honor Roll
2020 Season:
• Appeared in three games out of the Demon bullpen in his first collegiate season.
• allowed three unearned runs in an inning against Southern on March 3.
• made his NSU debut Feb. 21 against North Alabama, working a scoreless ninth inning with two strikeouts in an 8-2 Demon win.
Prior to NSU:
• Pitched two seasons at Ranger College.
• had three saves and 30 strikeouts in 21 2-3 innings with a 2.49 ERA as a sophomore.
• part of a combined no-hitter against Weatherford College.
• earned Player of the Week honors once at Ranger.
• graduated with a 3.6 grade point average and was part of Phi Theta Kappa honor society.
High School:
• Played for coach John Goodwin’s Bulldogs.
• member of the Future Farmers of America and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes
• graduated with a 3.8 grade point average.
Personal:

• son of Kim and Chad Morris.
• has one sister, Courtney.
• majoring in biology and holds a 3.54 grade point average.
• plans to manage a wildlife ranch after graduation.
