2019 Southland Conference Commissioner’s Spring Honor Roll
2020 Season:
• Appeared in one game as a defensive replacement against Wichita State on Feb. 16, successfully handling his lone chance.
2019 Season:
• Appeared in 25 games, starting 17, in his first season at Northwestern State.
• made starts at third base (8), first base (5) and designated hitter (4).
• enjoyed his best day at the plate against New Orleans in the March 17 series finale against the Privateers, going 4-for-5 with two runs scored and a career-high three RBIs.
• had his first career multi-hit game, going 3-for-5 with a double, two RBIs and a pair of runs scored in a 24-11 win at Abilene Christian on March 9.
Prior to NSU:
• Lettered one season at Murray State College.
• helped lead the Aggies to a No. 9 national ranking.
• batted .340 with 12 home runs, earning second-team all-region honors.
• teammate of fellow NSU signee Peyton Graham.
• graduated with a 3.4 grade point average.
High School:
• Four-year letterman for coach Aldo Velasquez.
• unanimous first-team all-district selection as a senior after hitting .420.
• hit .340 as a freshman to earn second-team all-district honors.
• helped lead Clark to playoff appearances as a freshman and as a junior.

• Dean’s List student graduated with a 3.9 grade point average and was part of the National Honor Society and the Debate Team.

• son of Paul and the late Dina Brown.
• has three brothers – Hilton, a sophomore infielder at NSU, Huntington and Houston—and a sister, Hannah.
• Dean’s List student is majoring in general studies with a concentration in biology and has a 3.6 grade point average..
