2016 Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll

2017 Season (Junior):
Worked way into starting lineup, starting eight matches including the last six … appeared in 15 matches, mostly as a midfielder … scored two goals with one assist for five points … contributed game-winning goal against ULM, scoring in the middle of the second half in a 1-0 win … also scored goal in opener against LSUS … lone assist came on a game-winning goal against Incarnate Word … eight matches of at least 60 minutes, including a career-high 100 minutes against Houston Baptist … took nine shots with five on goal … graduated at end of junior year.


2016 Season (Sophomore):
• Foot injury sidelined Juarez the majority of season
• Appeared in one game, a 22-minute stretch against Southern Methodist.

2015 Season (Freshman):
•  Appeared in eight matches and played a total of 277 minutes.
•  Scored two goals and contributed three assists as a true freshman midfielder. Five
•  Career day against Alcorn State, scoring two goals and producing an assist. Her five points tied a single-game high for NSU in 2015.
• Assisted on goals against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and Southeastern.
• Attempted six shots with three on goal.
•  Played a season-high 81 minutes against Southeastern.

High School:
•  Four-year letterwinner for coach Robert Williams’ Jaguars.
•  Three-time All-Conference selection.
•  Twice named “Player of the Game” against Mustang and against Putnam City North as a junior.
•  Named to the Putnam City North All-Tournament team as a sophomore.
•  Led team in assists as a sophomore ... helped lead the Jaguars to the playoffs in her freshman season.
•  Two-year letterwinner in cross country.
•  Cross country team finished eighth in Oklahoma in each of her two seasons.
•  Maintained  a 4.0 GPA throughout high school.
•  Masonic Award nominee, National Honor Society, Student Council and Senior Council member.
 
Personal:
•  Born July 22, 1997.
•  Daughter of Ana and James Juarez.
•  Has two brothers, James Jr. and Johan.
•  Has one sister, Ana.
•  Plans to major in allied health and English.
•  Life’s ambitions include playing soccer at the highest level, coaching soccer, working with youth and becoming a youth leader at her hometown church.
