2018 Season (Senior):
Started in 13 games and appeared in 17 as a defender … ended career with 59 starts and 77 appearances … played 944 minutes … part of a back line that allowed 1.60 goals and nine shots per game … of NSU’s 20 games, held opponents to one goal or less 11 times … part of five shutouts (TAMU-CC, Southeastern, Southern, Jackson State, LSU-Alexandria) … attempted five shots, three on goal.

2017 Season (Junior): 
Started 16 and appeared in all 18 games as an outside defender … third on the team with 1,517 minutes played … part of five shutouts … took one shot, came against Jackson State … played the entire game in 15 matches.

2016 Season (Sophomore):
• Appeared in all 19 matches with 18 starts as an outside defender
• Athletic defender who could cut off speedy attackers
• Part of a backline that allowed 1.32 goals per game and a 1.28 goals against average
• Played season-high 110 minutes against Nicholls
• 14 matches of at least 90 minutes.

2015 Season (Freshman):
• Started 12 matches as a true freshman, breaking into a starting position by the third match of the season.
• Started seven matches in a row and 10 in an 11-match streak midseason.
• Logged 1,185 minutes, including seven matches of at least 90 minutes.
• Took eight shots, three on goal (.375).
• Took two shots each against Jackson State and Alcorn State.
• Part of a defense that improved against goals against average nearly one goal from 2014, posting a 1.42 this season.

High School:
•  Lettered for coach Andrea Masanda’s Raiders.
•  Named all-district as a junior
•  Graduated with a 4.2 grade point average
•  Member of the National Honor Society.
 
Personal:
•  Daughter of Mirna and Virgil Smith.
•  Three siblings: sister Chadima (34) and brothers Marcus (26) and Khalyph (20).
•  Plans to major in business with a minor in psychology with aims to get a high-paying professional job.
•  Khalyph part of the NCAA D-II football champions at Colorado State-Pueblo.
•  Mom is a teacher and dad is a supervisor.
