High School: Gabe competes in 100m, 110m hurdles, 300m hurdles, long jump, high jump, javelin, and 55m hurdles… was the is the district 2-4A champ in 2013 in the 110m hurdles, 300m hurdles, and long jump… reached the 2013 Outdoor State Qualifier in the 110m hurdles and long jump placing 7th in the hurdles and 8th in the long jump… coached by Jay Wilson… graduated with a 3.84 GPA.
 
Personal:  Son of Kathleen and Don Tumey… has two brothers, Sam and Tommy… has one sister, Erica… father is a NSU alum and former football coaching staff member… majoring in human and health performance… plans to become a track coach.
