• voted state Class 3A MVP as a junior when Vidalia made its first state championship game appearance since 1979 as he averaged 17 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists

• gained leadership skills as the president of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) and vice-president of Beta Club and Student Council
