2010 Cross Country: Recorded a time of 18:00 at SFA in the Women’s 2K x 2…posted a time of 18:19 at Louisiana Tech…after sitting at McNeese due to injuries, Kirstie returned at the Demon Invitational to clock a 22:40.26 time…she closed out her season at the Southland Conference championship meet with a time of 29:30.


High School: Lettered two years in basketball and all four years in track and cross country... Freshman year, placed third in the 1600m, fourth in the 3200m, 5th in the 800 and 8th in the cross-country competition... sophomore year, improved tremendously, taking home the state title in the 800, 1600 and 3200 meter races... junior year, repeated s 3200m champ and finished second in the 800m and 1600m... awarded athletic honor of Mrs. Eagle for LHS... member of Student Council, FFA, 4-h and Character Counts... graduated with a 3.5 GPA.

Personal:  Born Kirstie A. Jones June 17, 1991... daughter of Katherine and Romone Jones and has one brother, Romone Jones, Jr. ... majoring in Exercise Science with a concentration in athletic training... her career plans after NSU involve being a physical therapist... life's ambitions include being successful and competing in the Olympics.
