2009:  Saw action in 9 games and recorded 16 tackles... had a season-high 12 tackles against McNeese with one tackle for a loss... had 12 unassisted stops and four assisted for the season.

Before NSU: Was redshirted in 2008 at West Virginia ... At Copiah-Lincoln Community College, Shaw racked up 56 total tackles, including 34 solo stops, three sacks, seven tackles for losses, two forced fumbles, and 15 quarterback hits... selected honorable mention all-state... collected 23 tackles as a freshman, including 13 unassisted tackles and a sack... helped lead Co-Lin to a 9-3 record and the South Division Championship.

Shaw in High School:  Used as a fullback in high school... ran for 558 yards and seven touchdowns on 113 attempts... Named to the All-Division list and to the Clarion-Ledger's Top 125 prospects in the state.

Shaw Personal:  Born Oct. 5, 1987... son of George and Glenda Collins... full name is Douglas Shaw, Jr... has aspirations of opening up his own business.
