Freshman year, won softball freshman rookie of the year, earning first-team All-District and first-team all-parish...sophomore season, earned first-team all-district and all-parish honors in softball, basketball and track and won the discus state championship (LHSAA)... as a junior, garnered Abbeville HS Female Athlete of the Year after earning all-parish and All-District first-team honors in softball, basketball and track... LHSAA runner-up in discus and shot put... in her final year, named AHS Female Athlete of the Year, Meriodnal Athlete of the Year... joined basketball's 1,000 point club, earning first-team All-District and All-Parish... Won discus state championship for second time and finished as runner-up in shot put... Participated in Circle of Friends and Freshman Orientation Leadership

Personal: Born Janae Acacia Allen September 28, 1990...daughter of Myra Allen and Rev. John Allen... Has two siblings, sisters Jenissa and Julaine... Janae plans on working for the LHSAA after she graduates and has aspirations of working for the Southeastern Conference.
