2009 Season: In the outdoor season, competed in the shot put and discus... placed first in the shot put at the NSU Relays with a throw of 42-8... had a personal best toss of 43-9 which she threw at the LSU Alumni Gold for a ninth place finish... in the discus, threw a personal best of 118-09 for a 10th place finish a the NSU Invitational.
High School: Placed second in the state in the shot put with a throw of 43-8... threw 44-7.75 at the regional qualifier meet... also threw the discus and had a best toss of 111-0 at the District 18-4A meet... lettered in basketball and volleyball in addition to track... a member of the National Honor Society, French Club, Ping Pong Club, FCA, Young Life, and ROTC.
Personal: Born October 14, 1989... daughter of Herbert Bratton and Jacqueline Hicks... two siblings, David and Samuel... majoring in criminal justice and plans to become a police officer then a United State Marshal.
