NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State softball's annual alumni weekend and fundraising auction are set for next weekend, bringing together former players, supporters and fans for a two-day celebration of the program.
After being postponed earlier this year due to winter storm Fern, the program's annual auction was rescheduled for April 11 and will now be held at Flying Heart in Natchitoches.
The event will coincide with the Demon's Southland Conference home series against UIW, serving as the capstone to the alumni weekend festivities.
Doors for the auction will open at 6 p.m., followed by the program at 6:30 p.m. and dinner at 7 p.m. All tickets purchased for the original January date will be honored.
A variety of items will be available in both the live and silent auctions, including dove hunting trips in South Texas with Double H Outfitters, a weekend getaway to Waco, Texas, and a three-night stay at a lake house on Table Rock Lake in the Ozark Mountains. Silent auction bidding will begin when doors open.
Individual tickets for the event are still available for $50, while VIP tables can be purchased for $450. Proceeds from the auction will benefit all areas of the Northwestern State softball program.

The auction is part of a full slate of alumni weekend activities scheduled for April 10-11 as the Demons host UIW.
All former players are invited back to campus for the weekend, which will include opportunities to tour recent facility upgrades, experience the newly installed turf and see the program's new video board in action.
Alumni and their families can purchase tickets for just $5 per day. Registration for the weekend, along with ticket purchases, is available at
