LAFAYETTE, Louisiana — Northwestern State's women's tennis match scheduled for Wednesday at the Cajun Courts has been postponed due to inclement weather.
The matchup has been rescheduled for April 1 at 1:30 p.m. in Lafayette.
The Lady Demons were originally set to travel to Lafayette to face the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns at 4:45 p.m., but unfavorable conditions forced the postponement. The delay marks the second consecutive match impacted by weather for Northwestern State.
Despite the interruptions, the Lady Demons continue to build momentum after opening Southland Conference play with back-to-back 4–3 road victories over UTRGV and Texas A&M–Corpus Christi.
Northwestern State will now remain in Natchitoches to host New Orleans on Friday before welcoming Nicholls on Sunday. Both matches were originally scheduled for last weekend before being postponed due to weather conditions.
