NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State softball finished the 2025 season with 13 student-athletes earning Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors it was announced on Thursday. The 2025 campaign marks the fourth straight year the Demons have had 10 or more athletes garner the distinction.

Among the 13 total selections was four-time honoree
Bailie Ragsdale, the only senior and upperclassman on the 2025 team. Earning their second consecutive awards were
Cameron Curtis,
Aly Delafield and
Sophia Livers. First-time award winners in 2025 were
Sara Kate Booker,
Tori Clayton,
Savannah Coleman,
Brynn Daniel, Ary Garcia Santana,
DJ Lynch,
Grace Ann McDonald,
Peyton Peck and
Riley Schwisow.
The 2025 Demons, under first-year head coach
Jenny Fuller, were the youngest team in all of Division I with 17 of the 18 players classified as freshman or sophomore. They completed the largest upset in the country in early March with a 5-0 shutout of No. 18 Mississippi State, giving NSU its first win over a ranked opponent since 2004. Entering the 2026 season, the Demons return 12 student-athletes, including six who earned Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors.
To be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must achieve a 3.50 or better cumulative GPA for the 2024-25 academic year.
