Jenny Fuller picked up another junior college signee for the 2026 team on Wednesday with the addition of Hayden Andrews from Northwest Florida State.

At Northwest Florida State
Andrews is in her second season playing for the Raiders…in her freshman season she batted .315 with a .385 on-base percentage across 51 games played…the lefty slapper picked up 40 hits during the season with three doubles and three triples…she finished second on the team with 26 stolen bases on 27 total attempts…Andrews had 11 multi-hit games including a stretch of eight straight games with a hit where she went 12-for-25 during that stretch in early April…the Raiders were Panhandle Conference Champions, won the NJCAA Division I South Atlantic District B Championship and finished fourth in the NJCAA Softball World Series…thus far this season Andrews has a .313 batting average and .395 on-base percentage in 15 games…she has 10 total hits with one triple and has walked seven times with five stolen bases…Northwest Florida was ranked No. 3 in the NJCAA Division I poll at the time of her signing with NSU.
High School
Was a multi-year first and second-team all-state player, earned multiple All-Mobile County honors and was selected for the Alabama North/South All-Star Game…during her sophomore season she was part of the team that won the first softball state championship in Satsuma HS history…a three-sport athlete in volleyball and on the track, Andrews also placed fifth in the state in the indoor 4x200 meter relay…she graduated with Honors in the top 10 of her graduating class and was a member of the Mu Alpha Theta, National Honor's Society, National Science Honor's Society, the CNA program and during her senior year, won her high school's pageant and crowned Miss Satsuma.
Personal
Daughter of Mary and Michael Andrews…has two older sisters, Reagan and Cameron…dad Michael is a decorated travel ball coach with multiple championship titles…mom is supervising RN for the largest non-profit hospital in Alabama…sister Cameron played three years of softball at Southern and was a SWAC All-Tournament player…plans to major in radiology and pursue a career in the field.

"We are really excited to add Hayden to our roster next year," Fuller said. "She plays the game at a fast pace and her speed and IQ will be a huge asset to the team. She's coming from a national JUCO powerhouse in Northwest Florida, and we fully expect that she will make an immediate impact in Natchitoches."
Andrews is the fourth junior college signee for Fuller thus far in the 2026 class, joining Hanna Bartels (Weatherford College), Peyton Young (Weatherford College) and Abby Hollingsworth (Trinity Valley). She is the seventh overall signee in the class.
