NATCHITOCHES -- Due to expected weather conditions in the area throughout the day on Saturday, the first day of the Northwestern State softball tournament weekend has had its game times adjusted.

The first game of the day, featuring the two visiting teams Memphis and Jacksonville State, will now begin at 9 a.m.

The Demons take the field for the first time on their brand new GeoSurfaces turf field at 11:30 a.m. against Memphis followed by a 2 p.m. first pitch against Jacksonville State.

There has been no adjustment to game times on Sunday as of now.
