Fuller brings in four on early signing day

NATCHITOCHES – Head coach Jenny Fuller announced the addition of four high school signees on Thursday as part of Northwestern State's softball signing class for the 2027 season.
 
The Demons pick up a highly-ranked pitcher, a power-hitting lefty, a corner infielder with Gold Glove accolades and a five-tool, two-way star as part of the class.
 
Rylann Beeson – 5-9 – R/R – Utility – Oklahoma City, Okla. / Mustang HS
 
High School
Helped lead her team to a 6A Fast-Pitch State championship at Mustang HS in Oklahoma in 2025 along with back-to-back 6A Slow-Pitch State Titles in 2023 and 2024 … following the 2024 season she was nominated for the Oklahoma Player of the Year award as well a Prep Nation All-Oklahoma honoree and Prep Nation Oklahoma Player of the Year finalist … awarded the 6A The Glove Defensive Player of the Year in 2024 as well to accompany her .486 batting average with six home runs, 26 RBI, 35 runs scored and 1.346 OPS … named a 4-6A All-District Utility Player.

Elisa Hernandez – 5-0 – R/R – Pitcher – Lytle, Texas / Cornerstone Christian

Four-year letter winner at Cornerstone Christian in San Antonio … earned Offensive MVP honors in 2023 and back-to-back Defensive MVP honors in 2024 and 2025 … ranked in Extra Innings Southwest Region and Elite 100 as part of Class of 2026 … named top Right-Handed Pitcher in the Class of 2026 by Lonestar Prep.

Daughter of Valerie and Daniel Hernandez … has two siblings, a brother Joshua, and sister Carissa who is a catcher on the Demon softball team … plans to major in nursing and become a pediatric nurse … enjoys hunting and playing piano.

Camryn Carter – 5-8 – L/L – P/OF – Woodway, Texas / Midway HS
 
High School
Four-year letter winner at Midway HS in Waco, Texas … helped her team win three District 12-6A titles over her first three prep seasons, winning more than 30 games each season and advancing to state championship game in 2024 and 2025 … won the 6A Division I State Championship and finished as the No. 1 ranked team in 6A in 2025 … earned 6A First-Team two-way player that has a 46-6 record in the pitching circle with a 2.29 ERA and 212 strikeouts while batting over .400 and slugging .590 thus far in her career … named District 12-6A Pitcher of the Year as a freshman after posting a 29-3 record with 19 complete games and five shutouts … named District 12-6A Offensive Player of the Year after hitting .443 with a .629 slugging percentage in her junior season … three-time first-team all-district honoree so far, both as a pitcher and in the outfield … Texas 6A First-Team All-State outfielder in 2025 … four-time member of District 12-6A Academic All-District Team and member of National Honor Society.

Daughter of Jennifer and Robert Carter … has two brothers, Brett and Owen … plans to major in business and wants to become a real estate broker and manage her own real estate agency

Member of the 2025 Fort Worth Star Telegram All-Area Super Team as  an Honorable Mention … during the 2025 summer with her travel ball team, Texas Glory, she has been named to multiple all-tournament teams and ranked as one of the top hitters in on the circuit with an OPS over 1.500.

Daughter of Creshia Walker… plans to major in business … want's to run her own business after graduation and continue to play softball.
