NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State softball is offering a pair of multi-day camps this summer.
 
Registration is now open for a youth all-skills camp and for softball players in grades four through six and a more advanced all-skills camp for players from seventh grade and older.
 
The youth camp will run daily from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. from June 11-13. The second camp will run daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on June 17-19. Both camps will take place on NSU's campus at the softball complex and Demon Diamond.
 
The camps will cover all defensive positions, including pitching, catching, all infield positions and the outfield, in addition to all aspects of the offensive game, including hitting and baserunning.
 
Registration is $200 per player for the youth camp and $375 for the skills camp.
 
Lunch will be provided for both camps.
 
Each camper must bring their own equipment, including a glove, bat, batting gloves, helmet, shoes and any other equipment they feel necessary. Please mark the camper's name on all items.
