COMMERCE, Texas -- Due to the potential for rain and thunderstorms in the Commerce, Texas area Friday evening, Northwestern State's Southland Conference doubleheader against Texas A&M-Commerce has been moved up by two hours.

The teams will now play the pair of games beginning at 3 p.m. from the John Cain Family Softball Complex instead of the originally scheduled 5 p.m. start.

The 12 p.m. series finale scheduled for Saturday remains unchanged, weather permitting.
