NATCHITOCHES—Ayu Ishibashi won her singles draw's final, highlighting the second and final day of competition at the Natchitoches Regional Medical Center Lady Demon Collegiate Classic.

Ishibashi finished off an impressive tournament by winning her match 6-2, 6-4, to win the Purple Singles Draw against Alice Klinteby of UL Monroe.

Ishibashi was one of three Lady Demons to win their singles match.

Renske Ubachs also won her singles match, rolling 6-1, 6-0, against Stephen F. Austin's Eena Bleicher in the Orange Singles Draw.

Sofia Garcia won a tight 6-3, 7-6(4) match against Tristanne Dechoux of New Orleans to win the consolation bracket of the Black Singles Draw.

In doubles, the pairing of Sofia Garcia and Paige Wise reached the doubles final of the Purple Doubles Draw, winning a tight 7-5 match before falling in the finals to UL Monroe's duo of Oleksandra Balaba and Giovanna Pereira.

After falling in their first doubles match of the day, the NSU duo of Dorota Szczygielska and Ayu Ishibashi rebounded with a victory in the third-place contest, defeating a mixed doubles team of Mackenzie King of ULM and Laure-Line Monnoyer from UL Lafayette 6-3.

The next time in action will be at the UCA Invitational on the campus of the University of Central Arkansas, beginning on Sept. 30 and ending Oct. 1.
