Name: Wendy (Luebbers) Schuller
Current Professional Position: Head Women's Basketball Coach Eastern Washington University
Role/Time at Northwestern State: Spent 9 years at NSU. Arrived as a graduate assistant for the WBB team, then became an assistant, and then associate head coach. Also served 6 years as the SWA.
Career path since leaving NSU: Left NSU to become the Head Coach at Eastern Washington, still here 19 years later.
What is your most memorable moment while at NSU?: Beating Notre Dame in the WNIT tournament and beating Iowa in the Stanford tournament.
Who is someone you met or connected with at NSU with whom you have stayed connected?: So many people. I am still connected with most of the young women who played for us and the people with whom I coached during my tenure, especially Coach James Smith. I also keep in touch with so many in the community, including President Maggio, AD
Greg Burke, Doug Ireland, Becca Hayes, David Stamey, and countless others.
