NATCHITOCHES -- The start time for Northwestern State softball's doubleheader against Fairleigh Dickinson has been pushed back to 3 p.m.
 
The two-hour change will allow Lady Demon Diamond a dryer playing surface.
 
The games are NSU's first home contests of the season, kicking off a scheduled seven-game home stand this week with the Natchitoches Historic District Development Commission's Lady Demon Classic taking place Friday-Sunday.
 
The 10-game event features NSU, Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Houston Baptist and Saint Louis.
