SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Northwestern State track and field team wrapped up its competition Saturday at the Texas State Bobcat Invitational.
Collin Milton was the lone competitor and finished 12th in the men's javelin (184-4).
"Collin had a good day. He missed a little bit of the timing with the arm strike, but he did well even though he didn't have a lot of time to train due to the bad weather we had in Natchitoches," head coach Mike Heimerman said.
Jasmyn Steels was entered in the women's triple jump and did not compete.
After this weekend, the Northwestern State track and field team takes the week off for spring break and heads to Nacogdoches to compete at the Stephen F. Austin Skechers Carl Kight Invitational next Friday and Saturday.
