NATCHITOCHES -- There was late drama and spectacular performances by Northwestern State players Saturday in the Southland Conference basketball doubleheader at Prather Coliseum, just not a happy ending.

Beatrice Attura's 34 points wasn't quite enough for the Lady Demons in a 68-63 loss to McNeese, while Josh Boyd's 26 helped the Demons get to overtime before the Cowboys prevailed 79-72.

The game replays will air Sunday-Friday at midnight, 8 a.m., and 7 p.m., and will air until next Saturday. The first replay began Saturday at 7. The Lady Demons' contest takes the first 90 minutes of each replay.
 
The contests can be seen locally on SuddenLink Channel 22, CP-Tel Channel 55 and Lobby Channel 8 for residents of University Place Apartments 1 and 2.
