NATCHITOCHES – Lightning and a resulting power outage wiped out Northwestern State soccer's match against Texas State on Friday night.
 
The Bobcats had a 3-0 lead with 11 minutes left in the first half, but there is no result from the match. A match must be played past the 70^th-minute mark to become official. The match will not be rescheduled.
 
Northwestern State (3-3-1) heads to Southern Methodist on Sunday for a 1 p.m. match.
