NSU TV to begin showing replays of doubleheader vs. UNO

NATCHITOCHES – Jalan West's near triple-double performance highlights the upcoming replays of Northwestern State's basketball doubleheader against New Orleans, which begins at midnight on NSU TV.
 
West scored 33 points, handed out nine assists and grabbed eight rebounds in an 88-78 Demons victory against former NSU assistant coach Mark Slessinger's Privateers.
 
In Saturday's first game, New Orleans used a furious second-half rally to edge the Lady Demons 72-70 despite a career-high 31 points from NSU point guard Janelle Perez.
 
NSU TV will replay the Lady Demons' game at midnight, 8 a.m., noon and 8 p.m. through Thursday. The Demons' game will begin at 1:47 a.m., 9:47 a.m., 1:47 p.m. and 9:47 p.m. daily through Thursday when both teams will play at the Southland Conference Tournament in Katy, Texas.
 
The replay of Saturday's games can be seen locally on SuddenLink Channel 22, CP-Tel Channel 55 and Lobby Channel 8 for residents of University Place Apartments 1 and 2.
 
The replay was produced by Davey Antilley, manger/executive director of NSU TV, with a student crew of camera operators and directors. Audio for the replays is provided from the Demon Sports Network broadcast flagshipped by 100.7 KZBL FM in Natchitoches, with Tony Taglavore handling the play by play.
