Biography
Career Record’s Watch: With 921 career digs, she’s looking to become just the fifth player in school history to reach the 1,000 career digs milestone... needs 404 digs to become NSU’s all-time career leader.
2009: Second on the team with 240 digs and a 2.76 digs per set average... fourth on the squad with 94 kills adn a .112 attack percentage... played and started in all 24 matches and 87 sets... had 13 double-digit dig matches with a high of 16 against Texas State on Oct. 17... had a career-high nine kills, nine digs, and a .333 attack percentage in a 3-0 win over Louisiana-Lafayette on Sept. 18... had a streak of six matches where she had double-digit digs.
2008: Finished the year with 237 digs for a 2.42 per set average while splitting time at the libero position... had 40 kills in 204 attempts and served up nine aces... posted 11 double-digit dig matches with a season-high of 16 at Nicholls... had a career-best seven kills in a 3-set sweep over Texas-Arlington.
2007: Led the Lady Demons with 444 digs and a 4.53 dig per game average... her 444 digs is the second most in a season in NSU history... played in all 27 matches and 98 games... had six kills on the season and 19 assists with 12 service aces... had double-digits in digs in all but three matches... topped the 20-dig mark seven times and had a high of 33 digs against Louisiana Tech.
High School: Earned District 12-5A MVP honors, was named first team All-District and second team All-Area after finishing her senior season with 413 kills and 58 aces… first team honors as a junior and second team all-district as a sophomore… team went a perfect 10-0 in district play her senior season and was an area finalist, having compiled a 33-7 record… regional quarterfinalists her freshman and junior years… graduated from Mesquite High School with a 3.71 gpa… member of the National Honor Society, Senior Leadership, and Volunteer Club… also lettered in basketball and track... earned academic all-district and academic all-state honors as a senior
Personal: Born April 27, 1989… daughter of Anthony and Donna Manning… one brother, Anthony II and a sister, Courtney… majoring in biology and wants to become a physician’s assistant.
