2001: Played in 23-29 matches as a true freshman...Began playing more frequently during conference season, and played in each game of every match last month...Had a career-high 9 kills vs Nicholls State (Oct. 26) and hit a solid .192...8 kills and just 1 error with a .333 percentage vs Texas Southern (Oct. 17)...Recorded 7 digs on two occasions: Texas Southern (Oct. 17) and Stephen F. Austin (Nov. 9)...Had 2 block assists vs Texas Southern (Oct. 17)...Had 2 service aces on 3 different occasions.
High School: Kristin was an honor roll student with a 3.0 grade point average at Kempner High School...She was a one-year letterwinner in volleyball and tennis...During her senior year, she was the practice captain for her club volleyball team which qualified for Tour and then placed fifth...Her junior year, she was the Killer leader on the Junior Varsity team while rehabbing her knee from a torn ACL...She was the District Runner-up in Doubles Tennis in District 5A where she took one first-, two second- and one third-place finishes in competition...She was also a District champ and a USTA Team Tennis State Finalist...Kristin, off the court, was a People-to-People Student Ambassador to Australia and New Zealand, a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes where she was the Social officer and Vice President.
