Outlook: Kelly will continue delivering powerful hits and will be one of the leading attackers for the Lady Demons. Development of ball control will also be important this season. Kelly will also provide key leadership on the court.

1990: Participated in 28 of last year's 33 matches. accumulated 86 kills and 79 digs and a match high attack percentage of .348 against McNeese in October with nine kills.

1989: Missed most of the season after injuring her knee. Underwent reconstructive knee surgery and successful rehabilitation. Saw action mostly during October including an impressive .300 attack percentage against North Texas with no attack errors.

Coach McCalister on Kelly: Wil see plenty of action on the front row with her attacks and will also hel[ with the blocking. As a senior, her leadership will be important in developing the incoming freshman to their fullest potential.

About Kelly: The daughter of Silron and Annie Banks, Kelly ws born on January 23, 1969. Kelly is returning to Northwestern State from out west so that she can get a proper southern education. Majoring in Physical Therapy, Kelly plans on graduating next spring and opening her own sports clinic.
