High school: Gretchen lettered in volleyball three years and track once...As a freshman, her volleyball team went 15-3 and earned her the title of "Most Inspirational Player"...As a sophomore, Gretchen's team went 14-4 in league play and made it to the first round of state playoffs being named "Best Offensive Player"...As a junior, her team had a record of 15-3 and was league co-champions...During her senior year, her team was second round of state playoffs...She made the third team all-league volleyball and was a district qualifier in track.
