Biography
Outlook: Claire has the potential to have the most outstanding year of any Lady Demons volleyball player if she is able to stay injury free. She will be the other main offensive threat on the team this season.
1991: Starting off the season strong, Claire twisted her ankle at the Mississippi State tournament forcing her to sit out for two weeks. Returning for the end of the season. Claire finished second on the team in kills.
1990: Saw action in only the first eight matches of season before being sidelined with a herniated disc in her back. She finished with one of the highest attack percentages in school for a season.
1989: Redshirted after a bout with mononucleosis early in the season. Claire scored an impressive 26 kills in her collegiate debut against Jackson State.
Personal: Claire is the only child of Mr. and Mrs. John Gilmartin. Before traveling to the United States, Claire played on the Scottish National Team from 1983-89.
