High School: First-team All-State Class 3A as a senior...All-Area Most Valuable Player in both volleyball and basketball during her career...In volleyball, she was a four-time All-Area MVP while in basketball she won the award three-times...She was a four-time all-conference and all-area pick in both sports, and a two-time conference MVP in volleyball...She made the All-Region team in volleyball as a senior...Cathy holds 23 of the 33 Morton School records in volleyball...Her team went 24-7 in her final year, sharing the conference title and earning a statewide No. 8.
Class 3A ranking...MHS went 25-4 a year earlier, winning the conference crown and qualifying for the state semifinals after winning the regional title...In her sophomore year, the team went 24-6...In basketball, the team posted four straight winning seasons and a 58-39 overall mark...She also lettered twice in track and once in softball...Cathy served as class treasurer from 1997-1999 and served on the student council...She was also a member of the fine arts and entertainment club...Made Academic All-Conference.

Personal: The daughter of teachers and coaches...Her parents both have coached for more than 15 years and have produced individual and team state champions...Her brother David (23) was on full athletic scholarship at Indiana-South Bend...Nickname is "Cat"...She hopes to be an athletic director at the high school or college level...Her life's ambitions include playing in the NCAA volleyball championships, teaching special education, and to live a healthy and happy life with her family while enjoying her career.
