2009-10 Honors:  SLC Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll, Fall 2009… NSU Athletic Honor Roll, Gold (3.50-3.99), Fall 2009, Spring 2010.

2009:  Recorded 83 digs and 46 kills in 21 matches and 61 sets played... tied for fourth on the team with 10 service aces... fifth on the squd with 16 total blocks... season-high 10 kills and a .364 hitting percentage in a 3-0 sweep over Louisiana-Lafayette on Sept. 18... had a season-high 10 digs and three service aces against Central Arkansas on Sept. 19. 

Prior to NSU:  Freshman year, earned second team all-conference honors... all-tournament at NCTC... sophomore season, first team all-conference honors... MVP of the Hill Tournament... all-conference tournament team... all-region as a freshman and sophomore... President’s List as a freshman... ranked 5th in the nation academically her sophomore year... Buddy Lowrey Athletic Award winner.

High School:  Senior year, first team all-state and District 20-4A Most Valuable Player... all-tournament at Santa Fe Tournament and La Porte Tournament... team captain... junior and seasons, first team All-District 20-4A... also a standout soccer player, earning district MVP and all-district honors... all-district academic athletic team as a junior and senior... first team all-district in volleyball and soccer as a sophomore... all-district academic team... Super Gold Team honors in soccer... freshman season, first team all-district and all-district academic in soccer.

Personal:  Born Nov. 13, 1988... daughter of Robert and Terri Fruge... one brother, Justin, and a sister, Emily... majoring in psychology... nickname is “Britt.”
