Previous to NSU: All-American nominee...All-Region team, All-Region Tournament team, first team All-Conference, Laredo Community College Most Valuable Player and twice Tournament Most Valuable Player selections...Kristen led her team to a 35-11 record and second in conference, third in state, seventeenth in nation with first and second round Regional wins as a sophomore...As a freshman, she was an Honorable Mention All-Conference team member with a record of 29-17 that placed sixth in conference.

High School: This honor roll student played volleyball and track for East Central HS...During her senior year team finished second in the district and made the area playoffs...For her club team she was voted the Most Dedicated...As a junior, she won fourth in high jump, fifth in long jump, third in relay, third in 200 meters at the district track meet for her team while the volleyball team went undefeated in district and made the area playoffs...For her club team she was voted Captain and Most Improved.
