High School: At McAllen Memorial High School, Beth was a letterwinner in volleyball (3), soccer (4) basketball (1) and track (1)...Team captain her senior year, Beth led her team to a second place district finish where she was an all-district pick, bi-district runner-up and 3 1-5A All-District Offensive Player of the Year...She was on the district champions team her junior year who went on to be area champs...Also her junior year, was named to the second team all-district and McAllen Monitor first team squads, along with awards for Sportsmanship and Best Blocker...During her sophomore year, she was on the district, bi-district, and area finalist teams where she earned second team all-district and most valuable player in Freer Tournament honors...She also played soccer, basketball and ran track...During her spare time, she was involved with Heartline, Yearbook, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Relay For Life program, club volleyball and the First Presbyterian Bible School.

Personal: Born on November 5, 1982...Daughter of Mark and Bethann Freeland...Has two brothers, John (23) and Thomas (17) and one sister, Ann-Maree' (19)...Beth is a hospitality management major and one day plans to own her own cafe called "Carson's Cafe" and have a family.
