General Information: Bernnize comes to NSU as an outside hitter who should contribute right away...Was a three-year letterwinner for coaches Carmen Hernandez and Lupe Almanza at P.S.J.A. North HS...As both a junior and senior, was named district player of the year, all-valley first team and all-area first team...as a sophomore was named newcomer of the year...also was a three-year letterwinner in basketball, four-year letterwinner in track and one-year letterwinner in cross country.
Personal: Has two sisters: Audrey (17) and Christina (11); as well as a brother, Jose Artemio, Jr. 914)...Her post-college ambitions include opening a day care for animals.
