Biography

1996: Still battling shoulder problems, Pavlov complied a 8-6 singles record and a 5-4 doubles record. She lost in the finals in No.1 singles at the SLC Championships.
1995: Pavlov played briefly due to a right shoulder injury.
1994: Ranked No.30 nationally in October after reaching the semifinals of the Skytel National Tennis Championships, highlighted by a second-round 4-6, 6-3, 6-1 win over the No.1 ranked tennis player in the country, Lucie Ludvigova of Texas. She was 33-2 in the spring playing singles and ranked 67th in the country in the ITCA poll at the end of the season. For her efforts in NSU's Southland Conference championship season, she was named Player of the Year in the conference and on the All-Louisiaina tennis team. In addition to her win at the No.1 singles position she also teamed with Natalie Opoku to win the No.2 doubles title at the conference championships.

Before NSU: Pavlov was the top-ranked player in Yugoslavia and the 39th ranked junior player in the world. She played twice in the prestigious Rolex Orange Bowl and Junior French Open tennis tournaments.

Personal: Honor student majoring in computer information systems. She was NSU's Female Scholar Athlete winner in 1995-196. She is the daughter of Pavel and Zuzana Pavlov and was born on 6/30/74.
