    Assistant Strength Coach
After a season as a graduate assistant, Ian Rogers was promoted to an assistant strength and conditioning coach in July 2025.

He works as the main strength and conditioning coach for women’s soccer in addition to working as an assistant to football.

Rogers leads training programs for soccer, including program design, testing, and performance monitoring, as well as coordinating closely with athletic trainers and sport coaches to optimize readiness and reduce injury risk.

With football, he assists with strength and conditioning, collaborating with the head strength coach and sport coaches, as well as athletic trainers in assisting with return to play for injured athletes.

As a graduate assistant at NSU between July 2024-July 2025, he assisted with the football team and led the strength and conditioning for the Lady Demons tennis team that won a share of the Southland Conference championship.

Prior to his time in Natchitoches, he spent five months as an intern with the strength and conditioning program at the University of Tennessee as well as interned at the Sports Performance Lab, enrolling NJ Titan hockey players in the sports performance lab program.

Rogers graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Misericordia University in Dallas, Penn., where made the dean’s list in four semesters.

He is working toward a master’s in health and human performance at NSU, expecting to graduate in December.
