Three-year letter winner and two-time all-district honoree at Captain Shreve HS...received first-team all-district honors following her senior season as she helped lead the Gators to its first playoff berth in program history...also received first-team all-city honors as a senior and named team MVP...was one of two underclassmen to earn a spot on the all-senior varsity during her sophomore season...a three-year member of the track team as well she was a regional qualifier in the triple jump...member of National Honor Society, National English Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, a distinguished scholar and member of five other academic and extracurricular clubs and organizations while at Shreve.


Personal
Daughter of Markishia and Jeremy Ward...has one brother, Ethan...cousin Danny McCray played football at LSU and was drafted by and played five seasons for the Dallas Cowboys, he was also a member of the Luvu tribe on the 41st season of Survivor that aired in 2021 and won the first season of the CBS series "The Challenge: USA" in 2022...majoring in criminal justice with a concentration in pre-law aiming to be a corporate lawyer.
