Biography

Senior Season (2011): Tied for second on the team with three assists...also scored a goal...her five points was tied for fourth on the team...took 11 shots and three shots on net...her 841 minutes ranked 11th on the team.

Junior Season (2010): Gathered one goal and one assist for 3 points… took 11 shots with five being on goal… scored her goal against Southern University in a 4-0 win… her assist opened up the only goal scored against rival Nicholls State setting up Alexandria Jackson… played in 17 games logging 589 minutes.

Sophomore Season (2009): Saw action in 19 games... no goals scored with one assist for one point... eight shots with four on goal... lone assist came against Jacksonville State helping Kayla King score her first goal of the season beating the Tigers 3-0.
 
Freshman Season (2008): Saw a significant amount of action as a true freshman having played in 19 games with 11 starts and recording 663 minutes... tied for third on the team with two goals scored and tied as the team leader with five assists... finished the year with nine points... took 13 shots with seven of those on goal... scored her first career collegiate goal at Grambling and netted her second goal of the season against Louisiana-Lafayette... had two assists each against Southern and Lamar.
 
Cheshier in High School:  All-State honors as a senior at the midfielder position... named team captain for 2006, 2007, and 2008... was named the District Co-MVP in 2007... helped lead her high school team to a district championship in 2007...also bi-district champions in 2007...played club soccer with North Texas Strikers... scored 12 goals with 13 assists as a junior and 21 goals and 16 assists her senior season... also lettered in cross country in 2006 and 2007... attended Cross Country Regionals in 2007... lettered four years in soccer... graduated with a 3.2 gpa... a member of the Spanish Club.
 
Cheshier’s Personal: Born December 7, 1989... daughter of Will and Mica Cheshier... one brother, Thomas and a sister, Leah... majoring in biology and would like to become a wildlife biologist/veterinarian.
