2012 Season: Competed in all seven meets for the Lady Demons and was the top runner on the squad six of the seven meets...registered three first place performances and four top-10 performances...placed first at the ULM Warhawk Invitational (5000m, 20:33), the NSU Invitational (6000m, 23:55) and the Demon Invite (3 mile, 18:13.1)...recorded a personal-best 6000m time of 22:38.2 at the SLC Championships, finishing 22nd.
2011 Season: Competed in three meets for the Lady Demons...registered a season-best 6000m time of 28:36.9 at the Centenary Invitational.
2010 Season: Kicked off her sophomore season at the SFA Invitational, where she clocked a time of 16:42 in the 2K x 2 event…recorded her best finish at Louisiana Tech, running ninth with a time of 17:19…posted a 20:53.12 time at the McNeese Cowboy Stampede…followed with an 11th place posting at the NSU Invitational (25:53.4)…completed the season with a time of 28:57 at the SLC championship meet.
2009 Season: Had a fifth place finish at the NSU Invitational and a seventh place finish at Centenary... placed 58th at the SLC Championships.
High School: Lettered three years in track and basketball... Participated in the state meet sophomore season followed by a third place finish at state in 800m junior year... made all-area team in 2008... Senior year, state champion in 800m along with runner-up in Class B girls 400m and won District MVP... ran the 400m in 1:02, 800m in 2:27, and 1500m in 5:18... President of SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions), FCA and held secretary position of Mu Alpha Theta... won state literary rally contest in sociology... graduated Valedictorian of her class with a 4.5867 GPA.
Personal: Born Oct. 29, 1990...daughter of Belinda Emory and Edwin Emory and has one brother, Jonathan....majoring in Health and Exercise Sciences, anticipating graduation in May 2013 and wants to be a Sports Rehabilitation Specialist.
