2023 Season
Saw action in 23 matches on the season making 17 starts, missing six matches during the middle of conference play due to foot injury...finished fourth on the team with 178 kills, second in kills per set at 2.23 and third in points per set at 2.63 and fourth on the team in blocks with 60...had six double-figure kill matches on the season including four straight in early to mid Sept. that included her season high 13 against Louisiana Tech (Sept. 15)...had her season-high 15.5 points in the win over Southeastern on 12 kills and six blocks...had consecutive eight-block matches, the first in the match where she injured her foot and the second in her first match back from the injury a month later...the eight blocks against UIW (Oct. 7) and HCU (Nov. 2) were career highs...hit better than .300 seven different times on the season with her best a .400 performances on two different occasions against Tulsa (Sept. 1) and Louisiana Tech (Sept. 15), recording 10 or more kills each time.

Prior to NSU
Played one season at ULM seeing action in 102 sets overall all 32 matches in the season, making 16 starts...collected 193 kills at a 1.89 per set rate with 37 digs and 35 total blocks...posted double-digit kills in seven matches with a season-high 16 coming twice on the year against Fairleigh Dickinson (Aug. 27, 2022) and UL Lafayette (Oct. 29, 2022)...most efficient offensive match of the season came against Arkansas Pine-Bluff (Oct. 17, 2022) where she hit .538 with eight kills on 13 swings and one error.

High School
Four-year letter winner at Denton HS and team captain for the Broncos during her senior season...in her final prep season, posted 345 kills, 132 digs and 127 blocks on her way to 6-5A First-Team All-District, First-Team Denton Record Chronicle All-Area, Prep Dig Texas Top 150, AVCA All-American Watch List and Academic All-District honors...helped Denton to a District 6-5A Regional Semifinal Championship and first-team all-district and academic all-district honors...picked up Second-Team All-State honors as a sophomore and the TAPPS 4A Newcomer of the Year as a freshman.

Personal
Daughter of Todd and Typhnoy Gerwig...has two brothers, Tyler and Tanner...majoring in psychology and marketing and would like to become a sports psychologist for a university or professional team or organization.
