Senior Season 2014: Started in 44 games, putting forth a .245 average and 15 RBIs … finished fourth on team in walks (16) and total bases (40) … had 2-for-3 performance driving in three runs against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on March 16 … lone homerun of the year came in 2-for-3 performance including three RBIs against Central Arkansas on April 12 … drove in three runs against Incarnate Word on April 18... All-Southladn Conference Honorable Mention team... SLC Spring Commissioner's Honor Roll.
Junior Season (2013): A standout behind the plate recording a .993 fielding percentage, making her mark in the NSU individual season record book as fifth in fielding percentage…started 50 games while stepping up to bat 131 times…recorded 31 hits, including five doubles and three homers…hit safely in four straight games at three different times throughout the season…earned All-Southland Honorable Mention.
Sophomore Season (2012): Appeared in 38 games, starting 33…had 15 hits, including two home runs, and 13 RBI with 79 at-bats…recorded a .986 fielding percentage…lifted NSU over Jackson State in seventh inning with a three-run RBI double…launched a two-run homer to tie Southeastern in 10-inning nail-biter.
2011 Season: In her first season with the Lady Demons, Cheyenne started 44 games behind the plate…. batted .231 with three multi-hit games….captured a team season-high 17 putouts against Southeastern Louisiana on April 16 and four hits at Grambling State on March 23.
At Brock HS: Cheyenne was an all-around athlete... four-year letterman in softball, two years in volleyball and one year in basketball…softball team made strong appearances on the district, regional and state level, winning the 2A state championship in her junior and senior years…volleyball team went back-to-back as area champion during her first two years of high school… in softball, she was named Parker County Catcher of the Year and All-District Academic all four years, 9-2A Defensive Player of the Year as a freshman and sophomore, 9-2A Catcher of the Year as a junior and 9-2A Offensive Player of the Year and Texas Sportswriters Catcher of the Year as a senior... earned All-State and All-State tournament team honors during her last two seasons…. collected a .491 batting average over four years…as a volleyball player, DeLaGarza was named newcomer of the year as a freshman and followed the next year with setter of the year honors…Brock HS 2007 Female Athlete of the Year...graduated in May 2010 with a 3.7 G.P.A.
