Made 40 starts and 47 total appearances in her second season as a Demon...led the team in batting with a .322 average and .868 OPS...recorded the highest conference batting average, .398, by a Demon since 2015 and had an OPS over 1.000 in league play, one of just 12 players in the league to do so...tied for second on the team with nine doubles and third in runs scored (22)...started first career game in the pitching circle against Murray State (Feb. 8)...hit her first career home run, going to the opposite field, against Louisiana Tech (Feb. 18), doing so off of her former high school teammate...scored from first base on a double with one out to give the Demons the first insurance run in a four-run sixth inning against #20 Mississippi State (March 2)...recorded first three-hit game of her career going 3-for-3, and reached base all four times she went the plate in the series opener at McNeese (March 14). Followed that with a solo home run in game two of the series the next day....went 6-for-10 at the plate in the series against Southeastern, including a 5-for-6 effort across both games of the doubleheader. Had three RBI and a double in the series...extended her career-long hitting streak to seven straight games with a double against East Texas A&M (March 29)...had back-to-back two-double games against SFA (April 4-6) and went 5-for-10 at the plate on the weekend...finished a home run shy of the cycle in a 3-for-4 performance against Nicholls (April 17)...had a 12-game conference hitting streak across four straight series and had at least one hit in 21 of the final 24 SLC games of the year.

2024 Season
    Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll

Started 35 games and made 45 total appearances in her first season, made 10 appearances in the pitching circle...hit .209 on the season with three doubles, two triples and five RBI...made her first career start on opening day against UTSA (Feb. 8)...also threw her first 3.0 innings in the circle in appearances against Texas State and UTSA on opening day, Feb. 8...struck out three batters against UTSA...got her first career hit and scored two runs in the win against Southern Illinois (Feb. 10) and earned her first win in the circle throwing the final 4.0 innings of the game giving up two hits and no runs...hit a go-ahead 2-run single in the 6th inning in the comeback win against Syracuse (Feb. 24)...first two multi-hit games came on consecutive days at the Longhorn Invitational against Hofstra and Tarleton on March 1-2...scored the winning run in the walk-off win against Texas Southern after hitting a 2-out triple, the first of her career, to reach scoring position...went 2-for-3 with a double and a triple in the win against Texas A&M-Commerce on April 19.

Four-year letter winner for North DeSoto softball team that won three straight state championships in her final three seasons as the No. 1 team in the state, going a combined 108-12 during their title runs…member of Griffin cheer squad for four years making a pair of national competition appearances in her final two seasons…earned all-area, all-district and all-state honors as a sophomore, junior and senior…named Marketplace Player of the Year following both her junior and senior seasons…won district MVP as a senior…in cheer placed seventh at nationals as a junior and third as a senior…member of National Honor Society, honor roll and an academic scholar who graduated with a 4.3 GPA…member of the science club, Spanish club, FBLA and FCA…high school teammate with Cameron Curtis.

Daughter of Rachel and Wil Delafield…has three siblings, two sisters and a younger brother…father Wil was drafted by Chicago Cubs and played in the New York Yankees organization…grandfather Sammy Joe Odom is a member of the NSU N-Club Hall of Fames as a football player and played for the Houston Oilers…sister Elizabeth played softball at LSUE and Arkansas-Monticello, sister Emma Callie was three-year starter at NSU, brother Luke is one of the highest rated quarterbacks in Louisiana…majoring in psychology…wants to go into speech therapy or teaching…ambition is to live life to the fullest with the people she loves.
