Coaching Experience:  He was a graduate assistant strength & conditioning coach at Frostburg State (Md.) in 2011-12, where he ran programs for men’s soccer and the throwing events in track and field. He assisted with football strength and conditioning. In the summer of 2011, he was a football strength and conditioning intern at Wisconsin, working with all position groups while administering testing and evaluation for incoming freshmen and transfers. While at Loras College, he was a student assistant strength & conditioning coach from 2008-2011, working with swimming, volleyball and baseball, assisting in the design of in-season programs for swimming and volleyball. He also oversaw student interns working with the football team in 2010-11, and had coaching experience with all 19 of the varsity athletic teams. In the summer of 2009, he worked for NXZ Level Athletics implementing a program for Brookfield Central High School’s football team in Waukesha, Wis.

Competitive Career:  He was a four-year letterwinner as a defensive tackle at NCAA Division II Loras. He was elected to the Leadership Council by his teammates for 2010-11. He was the male strength & conditioning athlete of the year at Loras in 2010-11.

Personal:  Laface earned his undergraduate degree in sport science in May 2011, with a cumulative GPA of 3.05. He had a 4.0 GPA in a master’s program in education in the fall 2011 semester at Frostburg State.
