Beginning his fifth year with the Demon basketball program, Patrick Self is virtually indispensable to the coaching staff.

His work ethic is remarkable, topped only by his positive disposition and willingness to take on any role that can help the program.

He has also become a great resource to the coaching staff with his far-reaching basketball knowledge.

Self, a Rosepine native, has earned his master's degree in educational leadership last summer. He picked up his bachelor's in health & human performance in spring 2007.

He is a 1997 Rosepine High School graduate.

Born Oct. 28, 1979, Self has four siblings and says his mother is his inspiration.  She is a student counselor at Hicks High School.

In his free time, Self enjoys fishing and participating in other sports.
