Savannah Banks joined the Northwestern State staff as its director of football operations in July.
Banks came to Northwestern after spending more than four seasons working with the Ohio University football program.
Banks began her career as a recruiting and operations student assistant with the Bobcats, assisting with practice setup and operations, team food and travel, ticket requests and distribution, recruiting, gameday visits and recruit-to-coach communications.
Banks was elevated to football operations assistant in May 2025 where she managed scheduling and daily itineraries for 120 student-athletes and more than 25 coaches through Teamworks.
She maintained her roles working with team travel and food while also overseeing the football operations budget and financial tracking for the unit.
During her four years with the Ohio program, Banks was part of the 2024 Mid-American Conference champions, an 11-win season, two 10-win seasons, four bowl championship teams (Frisco, Cure, Myrtle Beach and Arizona) and the 2022 MAC East title winners.
