Breah Hurd begins her second season as an athletic trainer at Northwestern State and will be the primary medical contact for the tennis team.
Hurd assisted with the football program this fall after graduating from Texas State with a degree in athletic training.
At Texas State, Hurd worked with women’s soccer, women’s tennis, softball, men’s basketball and football.
She worked with Canyon Lake High’s programs in football and volleyball.
A member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association, Hurd is board certified in Louisiana and certified CPR/AED among other certifications.
Hurd is a graduate student in NSU’s master of science in health and human performance program with a concentration in sports administration.
