2010 Preseason All-SLC 2nd Team

2009:  Averaged 273.3 yards in total offense while starting last four games ... played in 10 games, starting four, and threw for 978 yards while rushing for another 537...  connected on 81 of 144 for a 56.3 percent and threw five touchdowns and five interceptions... averaged 97.8 passing yards per game... rushed for three touchdowns... averaged 5.5 rushing yards per attempt and 53.7 rushing yards per game...had three games where he threw for more than 200 yards...completed 13 of 31 at Sam Houston for 263 passing yards and four passing touchdowns as well as rushing for 144 yards on 22 attempts... passed for 117 yards on 10 completions of 16 attempts and rushed for another 118 yards and one rushing touchdown versus Texas State... connected on 18 of 30 passes for 261 passing yards and one touchdown against Nicholls and threw for another 261 yards on 28 of 43 passes a week later against Stephen F. Austin.

Harris in High School:  All-State Class 4A, unanimous District 7-4A MVP, All-Baton Rouge Advocate Metro Team as a senior under coach Ron Lejeune  ... Skill Position MVP of the Army Red Stick Bowl all-star game with 203 yards passing and two touchdowns along with 56 rushing yards and another TD ... ran a spread offense and accounted for 1,650 total yards ... accounted for 332 of 351 yards by the Trojans in a 35-32 win over McKinley to capture the district crown, rushing for 219 yards ... finalist for the prestigious Warrick Dunn Award for Baton Rouge's outstanding senior prep football player ... led Tara to two straight district titles ... due to a coaching change late in the spring of his senior year, Harris actually ran the summer conditioning program for his Tara team ... also a standout baseball player ... played at the same HS as 1998 Demons playoff QB Brad Spangler.

Harris' Personal:  Born April 17, 1991... son of Buck and Sabrina Harris... majoring in journalism and plans to have a career in sports broadcasting.
