Former Elon defensive tackle Nick Campbell is in his first season as an administrative graduate manager on the Northwestern State staff.
Campbell will assist Jake Olsen in coaching the NSU linebackers.
A four-year letterman at Elon, Campbell has a wide-ranging career background that includes working on a U.S. Senate race and serving as a language intern in Lithuania.
Campbell spent four years as the offensive line coach at Captain Shreve and Northwood high schools in Shreveport, Louisiana. In addition to working with the varsity programs at those schools, Campbell also served as the offensive coordinator and an offensive and defensive line coach for the freshmen program at Captain Shreve.
Campbell is a licensed property and casualty insurance agent, has been a project manager for Waste Management National Services and remains active in the medical sales industry.Â
A 2006 Elon graduate in public administration, Campbell currently is pursuing a master’s degree in sport administration from Northwestern State.
